Mobile Basis for SAP is a mobile app designed by ELSOP Consulting Group for remote SAP systems administration through mobile devices. It is based on SAP Mobile Platform 2.1 and can be plugged into any SAP system (ERP, BW, CRM, Solution Manager) giving to Administrators the ability to perform remote operations (lock / unlock users, change Password, stopping and rescheduling Jobs) and monitoring all Alerts available in SAP CCMS. Mobile Basis for SAP is today available for Android 2.2 and will be soon available for IOS and BlackBerry.

  • User administration (SU01): User lock/unlock, password reset.

Application Prerequisites

  • SUP Server 2.1 and up installed: Installation services can be provided by Elsop Consulting Group.
  • Relay Server (optional): A Relay Server Outbound Enabler (RSOE) opens a bidirectional communication channel from inside the firewall outward to the Relay Server. This communication channel allows devices to communicate with the SUP server over one of several ports, depending on the specific purpose and technology.
  • SAP back-end RFCs: Installation of custom BAPIs specially created for Mobile Basis app. Those RFCs are delivered as an import request for your SAP systems.
  • Android 2.2 and up: Today Mobile Basis for SAP is only available on Android. It will be also released as an HWC application, being thus compatible with IOS, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile.

SAP Systems Compatibility

  • Mobile Basis for SAP is compatible with any SAP systems (ERP, BW, Solution manager, CRM, SRM) with BASIS component 4.5 and up.
  • Rescheduling of jobs is supported from SAP BASIS 6.1 and up.
  • Any SAP system on Netweaver platform is by default supported.
